Dr. Davis is a Medical Doctor by training but has been a full-time medical device entrepreneur and medtech executive for the last 22 years. He has been an investment banker for the last 9 years.  Dr. Davis focuses his practice to medtech and healthcare, and is considered one the top bankers in the country for smaller medtech deals.  He is actively involved in M&A and capital raises.

He has founded or held an executive position in 12 medical device companies.  Until late 2010, he served as Chief Operating Officer of SafeStitch Medical Inc.  He was a cofounder of the company and was involved in taking it public in 2007 as well as leading multiple FDA clearances and a successful commercialization of a novel surgical device.
He also serves on the board of a few companies including VetDriven, is a Managing Partner of Boca Paddle and Copper Enriched Beauty and actively consults with various medtech VCs and PEs.  He has published over a dozen peer reviewed papers as well as a book.  In 2011, Dr. Davis was named top 20 Most Influential Business Leader under the age of 40 (Miami Herald) and was added to the prestigious 40 under 40 list in 2012 (South Florida Business Journal).
