Rachel has more than 25 years of experience advising private and publicly held companies in the consumer products and retail sectors.  For the past 20 years Rachel has focused on assisting clients in mergers and acquisitions and private and public equity capital raises.  She heads up the firm’s Food, Beverage and Agribusiness investment banking practice.  Prior to joining City Capital, Rachel was a Partner in the Corporate Finance Department at William Blair & Company specializing in Consumer Products and Retail investment banking.  Representative investment banking clients Rachel has advised include Gehl Foods, Sunrise Growers~Frozsun Foods, New Carbon (Golden Malted), The J.M. Smucker Company, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, The Alberto Culver Company, John B. Sanfilippo, Malt-O-Meal, Jarden Corp, Recycled Paper Greetings, Prestige Brands, Dick's Sporting Goods and Lifetime Fitness. Prior to her time with William Blair, Rachel worked as a CPA for Arthur Andersen in Chicago serving multi-billion public clients including Sara Lee Corporation, Walgreens and Montgomery Ward/GE Capital. Rachel has served the boards of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trust.
