Eric Stovall has been providing professional service and deal-related advice to public and private companies and private equity firms for more than 20 years. During this time, Eric has served clients across a broad range of industries including business services, consumer, financial services, healthcare, industrials, retail, and technology.

Mr. Stovall has a diverse array of experience, including serving as an expert witness and arbitrator in post-acquisition disputes and testifying in federal and state courts as an expert in accounting and financial matters. In addition, Eric has led add-on, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, and sell side assistance for clients. The enterprise value of the transactions he has served clients on ranges from $5 million to more than $10 billion.

Eric began his career as a staff person in a Big 4 accounting firm and later as a Partner with KPMG, where Eric served as the Lead Partner for a Fortune 65 company and the Lead Advisory Partner for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Eric later served as a Regional Market Leader for another accounting firm and was also with Alvarez & Marsal and the investment bank of Houlihan Lokey before joining City Capital Advisors.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Ball State University, where he now serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Miller College of Business. Additionally, Eric serves on the Advisory Board of PortOptix, an AI-powered platform for private equity funds.
