P. Nicholas Hurtgen

Nick has more than 20 years’ experience in the investment banking industry advising private and public sector clients and principal investing as well.  Prior to joining City Capital Advisors, Nick was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co., where he led Chicago investment banking advising and capital raising activity for the healthcare, professional sports franchises/facilities, entertainment and gaming, real estate, consumer products, manufacturing, energy and forest products industries and for many major governmental agencies.  When Nick left Bear Stearns, he invested in and managed several businesses before joining City Capital.

Prior to investment banking, Nick was a top financial official for the State of Wisconsin, with primary responsibility for the financial management of the State and related agencies such as serving as a Trustee of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB).  He developed successful financial strategies for major initiatives as well.   Selected investment banking clients have included Forevercar, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, Flambeau River Papers, Walton Street, WEC Energy Group, Wilderness Resorts, Blue Cross/Cobalt Corp, UW Hospitals/Clinics and Genmar Industries.
