George Wedemeyer

George has over 30 years' experience on Wall Street, including over 24 years in the investment banking industry. Prior to joining City Capital, George was a founder and Managing Partner at Downstream Energy Partners, a boutique, privately-held, middle-market investment bank providing national M&A and strategic advisory services in the energy sector. Clients included convenience store operators, wholesale fuel distributors, and the world's leading oil companies. Prior to that, George was an entrepreneur, co-founding Kutsi Energy, a Mexico City-based renewable energy company focused on the development of utility scale solar photovoltaic projects and co-founding Balance Development, an eco-friendly luxury home development company. Earlier in his career, George spent many years at Credit Suisse, where he headed the US Small & Mid-Cap Equity Research team. Before that he was a Partner at HOLT Value Associates, purchased by Credit Suisse as a premier global investment management framework as it featured the CFROI metric. Representative investment banking clients George advised include BP North America, CH Smith & Son, DMJ Corporation, Ozark Mountain Energy, World Fuel Services and Danielson Oil Services.
