Ball Horticultural Company has Acquired Certain Assets from a European-Owned Company

Chicago, IL – September 2010; Ball Horticultural Company has completed its acquisition of certain assets from a European-owned Company. The assets form a business relating to the breeding and production of superior quality flowering plants distributed to a wide variety of customers in the U.S. with additional opportunities to distribute outside of the U.S.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This transaction represents the third transaction within the past year on which City Capital has advised Ball.
