Los Angeles Based Pacific Interventional Vascular Access Center has entered into a joint venture with Fresenius Vascular Care, Inc.

CHICAGO, IL – April 4, 2014; City Capital Advisors, a results-oriented investment bank serving the middle market, announced today that Pacific Interventional Vascular Access Center (“PIVAC”) has entered into a joint venture transaction with Fresenius Vascular Care, Inc. (“FVC”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care North America. In the transaction, FVC acquired a controlling stake in the newly formed joint venture, which will own and operate PIVAC’s Culver City vascular center. Founded in 2010, PIVAC provides essential access related procedures to ESRD patients in the Los Angeles area as well as treatments for peripheral arterial disease, spider and varicose veins and other vascular conditions. City Capital Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to PIVAC in connection with the transaction. The engagement was led by City Capital Managing Directors Tim Coleman and Matt Phillips.
